QuantWare is a superconducting QPU manufacturer operating out of Delft, Netherlands. The company designs and fabricates physical quantum processors for system integrators, research institutions, and government programs worldwide. QuantWare supplies QPUs to system builders rather than operating cloud access directly.
QuantWare's product lines include the A-Line and D-Line quantum processing units. The D-Line devices are built for scalability, while the A-Line processors are error-correction optimized. All processors feature VIO (Vertical I/O), QuantWare's 3D-integration technology. This technology is the foundation of QuantWare's roadmap for larger QUB configurations and future high-qubit-count processors.
The A-Line processors are engineered for high coherence and stability, targeting error-correction research and demanding enterprise workloads. The D-Line is built for scalability, and its Contralto-D is the QPU at the heart of Elevate Quantum's Q-PAC system.
Vertical I/O routes control signals through vertical interconnects rather than across the chip surface, eliminating surface-wiring bottlenecks and enabling a scaling path from tens of qubits to thousands.
The Quantum Utility Block (QUB) is a pre-validated on-premises quantum computer jointly engineered by QuantWare, Qblox, and Q-CTRL. The stack consists of three interoperable layers: a QuantWare superconducting QPU, Qblox control electronics, and Q-CTRL's Boulder Opal autonomous software. Together they form an upgradable, operationally ready system, brought online as a cloud service by Open Quantum.
