About Quantum Rings Simulator

The Quantum Rings simulator uses a proprietary matrix product state (MPS) engine that compresses the quantum state instead of storing every amplitude, so it can simulate circuits with hundreds of qubits. On Open Quantum it runs on Scarlet, the Quantum Rings CPU engine, and you can tune each run with single or double precision and a performance mode that trades speed for accuracy. Submit circuits from any supported framework, then run the same code, unchanged, on real QPUs when you are ready.

Configuring Quantum Rings Simulator

Options you can set when you create a job on Quantum Rings Simulator.

engine

Which engine runs your circuit. Open Quantum runs Scarlet, the Quantum Rings CPU engine.

precision

Single or double numerical precision (default double). Single precision runs faster; double precision is more accurate.

performance

How the engine trades speed for accuracy: highest efficiency, balanced accuracy, highest accuracy, automatic (the default), or custom, which adds a threshold you set (default 64).

Running Quantum Rings Simulator on Open Quantum

Free during beta

Simulators run on the Public Compute tier with no credits used while in beta. Prototype and debug as much as you need before spending anything on real hardware.

One API, every framework

Submit circuits in Qiskit, PennyLane, Cirq, Qrisp, or OpenQASM. Open Quantum handles the translation, so the same code runs here and on every QPU.

The same circuit runs on real QPUs

Circuits you run here can then go to real QPUs from IonQ, Rigetti, IQM, and AQT, with the same code, unchanged.

Prototype free, prove it on real QPUs

Start on Quantum Rings Simulator with no credits, then run the same circuit on real hardware with $50 of free quantum compute.
